2010 Black Horse Civil War Reenactment
Join us as reenactors of the Civil War era portray how life might have been like for those during that turbulent time in our nation's history. Come experience the roaring canons, cavalry, and cries for victory during Saturday and Sunday's battles. A Ladies Tea and Fashion show will be exhibiting some of the latest dresses from that era. Presidents Abraham Lincoln and William McKinley will be speaking about their lives and terms in office. Children will be able to partake in the demonstration of games that would have played. Take a living history tour through the Union and Confederate camps as guides explain the different items that were used and how soldiers would survive such conditions. Saturday evening the public are invited back to help us at the Camp Dance as we plan to break the Guinness Book of World Records for the most couples participating in the Virginia Reel.
