Info About This Christian Event: Dear Community Friends, METRAC is pleased to invite you to the launch of a new Family Law handbook and bookmark for Christian Women and Christian leaders, so that women can know their rights under Ontario family law. These resources were created in partnership with the Family Law Education for Women (FLEW) Project, following a process of consultation with church leaders and Christian women who participated in several focus groups and surveys. For more information about FLEW, please visit the FLEW website www.onefamilylaw.ca. On Wednesday September 9, 2009 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm METRAC and the FLEW Project will hold a launch to celebrate the completion of the newly printed legal resources. This event will also give METRAC the opportunity to provide everyone at the launch with a free copy of the handbook (55 pages) and bookmark with information on places where women can go for help. The event will be held at the Bloor Street United Church (300 Bloor St West). Refreshments will be provided, and the event will feature a welcoming prayer, guest speakers, and poetry reading.
